This trek features the unbelievable scenery of the remote Gokyo Valley and its festival of beautiful turquoise lakes, moonscape-like glaciers, and stunning mountain vistas that include Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu - four of the eight highest peaks on earth! The 360-degree view from Gokyo Ridge is the best in the Khumbu!

Itinerary

Day 01 Kathmandu to Lukla flight and trek to Phakding(2610mtrs/8563ft).

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft).

Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar.

Day 04 : Trek to Tengboche(3860m/12664ft).

Day 05: Trek to Dole (4,040m/13,251ft).

Day 06: Trek to Machermo (4,480m/14,246ft)

Day 07: Trek to Gokyo Lakes (4,750m/15,580ft).

Day 08: Hiking upto Gokyo Ri (5483m/1983ft) and trek down to Machermo (4,480m/14,246ft)

Day 09: Trek to Namche Bazaar.

Day 10: Trek down to Lukla.

Day 11: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight.

Cost Includes

  1. All the ground transportation by our private car.
  2. Meals on full board (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trek.
  3. All accommodations in lodges/tea houses during the treks.
  4. Domestic flight both ways from Kathmandu/ Lukla/ Kathmandu with airport tax.
  5. An experienced Government licensed holder guide and porter and their food, drinks, insurance, salary, equipments, transportation, local tax etc.
  6. All necessary paper works and national park entry permits & TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System)
  7. All government taxes.

Cost Excludes

  1. Lunch and dinner at Kathmandu.
  2. Laundry, telephone calls, Bar Bills ( Mineral Water, cold drinks, whisky, beer etc),
  3. Emergency evacuation if required, donation, tips and all personal nature expenses.

Equipments List

  1. Gloves with a waterproof shell outer.
  2. Down Jacket.
  3. Fleece or wool trousers/pants.
  4. Trekking boots with spare laces.
  5. Thick, warm wool hiking socks (4).
  6. Footwear for around tea house, eg running shoes and/or sandals.
  7. Trekking Sticks.
